Tired of Negative Stories? Now Hear This.
If you can’t get into nonprofits this month, you can’t get into them, period. Between stories about charitable giving at the holidays and reminders from your favorite charity to make your gift before the end of the year so that you get the ‘07 tax write-off, December is the most visible month for giving. In that spirit, b5 sister site Babylune has launched the Generous December Group Writing Project, an effort to get bloggers to post about their favorite charities, causes, and social organizations:
Let’s talk about our best impulses. Let’s talk about our efforts to see the better side of humanity. Let us talk of sharing, of help and of solutions to suffering and despair. Let us talk about the way we act when we choose to do the right thing.
Whoever can most convince Babylune author Kate Baggott of his or her charity’s effectiveness and importance will win a donation from Kate to that charity. How’s that for the spirit of the season? Get writing, folks. | 501(c)
